My Board Game Gift Guide for 2016

For Ages 7-12
Imhotep – In this game you gather stones to put on boats that you sail to sites in order to use the stones to build monuments. If you are the best builder over six rounds you win.
Dungeon Saga – Adventure through the depths of the Dwarf King’s Hold in this one versus all dungeon crawler.
King’s Forge – A dice game in which you use dice to build your pool of dice to craft items for the king.
Rattlesbones – In this dice building game you can change the face of your dice to score VPs and win.

For Ages 12+
Captain Sonar – This game is real-time Battleship with 2 teams.
Tyrants of the Underdark – A deck-building game with a board and area control.
Arcadia Quest – In this campaign-based miniatures skirmish game you must complete quests and fight off monsters and your opponents’ adventurers to win.

For 2 players
Mage Wars Academy – Face-off with another mage in this quick playing duel of wizards.
Deadzone 2.0 – The updated version of the miniatures skirmish game has streamlined rules.
Onitama – This is a fast-playing abstract game of simplified chess.

Party Games
Concept – Get your team to guess a word or phrase by giving clues by choosing pictures on the board.

Cooperative Game
Legends of Andor – This game is a fantasy-themed, cooperative where you must complete legends and stave off the hordes of monsters attacking Andor.
